It is our mission to serve as a diverse and caring community in which we share spiritual nourishment and celebrate all paths to God through the Principles of the Science of Mind. These principles were outlined by the teachings of our movement’s founder, Dr. Ernest Holmes, and are commemorated by other affiliates located in the United States and throughout the world.
We founded the Center for Spiritual Awareness (CSA) in late 1998, first in midtown Sacramento and then purchasing property at our present location on Starboard Drive in West Sacramento.
We do not teach you what to think. We support independent, positive, life-giving, affirmative thinking as the approach to even the most difficult of life's situations. We do not proselytize, evangelize, or attempt to convert anyone.
Lay people are an integral part of the Center For Spiritual Awareness, staffing our ministries and meeting the needs of members and our community:
CSA Book Group on Racism
Compassionate Ministry Homeless Services
Pastoral Care Ministry
Youth and Family Ministry
Ecclesiastical (must be a Practitioner)
